WHY A CAST LID
It is a cast aluminum lid coated with an ultra-strong nonstick. It is therefore lighter than cast iron but also more high-performance. Fits any of our products (casseroles or low casseroles). Its huge advantage is that it allows the juices to bounce from the lid to the vessel for lighter cooking making foods softer.
