Tomato confit is a healthy starter or side dish. It’s really easy to prepare! Bruschetta with citrus tomato confit are a savory alternative to the traditional tomato bruschetta.

Confit is an effective method for preserving fruit and vegetables. Tomatoes are seasoned with salt, oil and sugar and caramelized in the oven at low temperature for about an hour or two. Tomatoes should be cut into two parts and seasoned only with fresh herbs, according to the traditional recipe.

Tomatoes will release water as they are baked at a low temperature and SERVIGRILL DR.GREEN® will allow an even, healthy baking (far less oil is needed!) Eating healthy means cooking healthy, with certified cookware for a gentle cooking. Respecting the food and the environment. It will be an enjoyable and exciting cooking experience!
