One of the most beloved cakes, the apple pie: a very delicate “mini” edition baked with whole flour.

The rustic cocoa appe pies are an enjoyable way for our taste to serve a nourishing and soft dessert, perfect for any moment of the day.

Prepared with apples, cocoa and whole flour, these pies are rich in fibers and soft like a classic apple pie: the fruit has been added indeed top of the dough, but ha salso been shaved inside it, where it “disappears” adding softness and sweetness to this dessert.


The rustic cocoa appe pies are the perfect dessert for those who love healthy and express food, just like the one you can obtain with Risolì frypans Dr.Green. Ingredients for 2 People

  • 80 g whole flour
  • 25 g rice flour
  • 10 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 1 pinch of fine salt
  • 100 ml soy milk (o altro latte vegetale)
  • 30 ml seed oil
  • 1 apple, organic if possible
  • brown icing sugar (optional)


  1. Pour whole flour and cane sugar into a large bowl.
  2. Add rice flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt (sift everything).
  3. Form a hole in the middle and grate there half an apple. If you are using an organic apple, wash it carefully and leave the peel on, which is rich in fibres and vitamins.
  4. Pour some soy milk and some seed oil on the grated apple, stir with a tablespoon until even.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal parts and place them into two 14 cm forms, such as Risolì Egg&Sweet pans.
  6. Slice the remaining half an apple and garnish the cake.
  7. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
  8. Once cooled, sprinkle with brown icing sugar and serve.
