The stewed chicken with wine, fresh herbs and Taggia olives is a very simple, quick and easy. You’ll only need a few ingredients for a delicious meal.

CUOCIARROSTO ‘GRANITO’®
Use Risolì roasting pan Cuociarrosto. It is a non-stick pan with a useful pyrex glass cover, ideal to prepare roasts and stews. Your stewed chicken with will be soft and perfectly moist, without adding oil or butter.
Ingredients for 4 People
- 1 kg skinless chicken drumsticks
- Taggia olives
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 sage leaves
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 glass of dry white wine
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Mince garlic cloves and place them in a frypan or in saucepan, together with fresh herbs. Brown with a trickle of extra-virgin olive oil.
- Add skinless chicken drumsticks and brown on both sides.
- Add Taggia olives and simmer with white wine.
- Raise the flame and let the alcohol evaporate. Season with salt and pepper.
- Close the lid and let cook. It will take 20/25 minutes, depending on the chicken size.
- Check whether the chicken is cooked. It should be tender inside, but the meat should be white straight to the bone.
- Serve.
